Hitman 3 may not have as many trophies and achievements as previous games in the franchise, but fans will still have their work cut out for them when Agent 47 begins his newest mission on January 20. This time around, there are 47 digital accolades to nab on Xbox platforms and 48 on PlayStation platforms. There are rewards for everything from completing missions to reaching certain Mastery Levels and unlocking hidden secrets.
However, there are actually another 36 trophies and achievements to get from Hitman and Hitman 2 content for those who own the other two games in the World of Assassination trilogy.
Of particular note, however, is that the PS4 and PS5 versions of Hitman 3 have platinum trophies. Neither Hitman (2016) more Hitman 2 (2018) have platinums, though Hitman Go, Hitman Absolution, Hitman Bloodmoney, and Hitman Contracts do. The DLC trophies from the previous two Hitman games don’t affect the Hitman 3 platinum.
Developer IO Interactive revealed the inclusion of the platinum trophy via their official Twitter account earlier on January 11. The news was, of course, met with joyous praise and adulation from PlayStation fans, as evidenced in the tweet’s replies.

The full list of trophies and achievements can be seen over on True Achievements and True Trophies respectively. We recently reported on the reveal of Hitman 3’s six locations, which include the Carpathian Mountains, Dubai, and the United Kingdom. You can read more about them here. Stay tuned for our Hitman 3 review later this month when the game release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia.
