Horizon: Zero Dawn is still getting attention from Guerrilla Games more than four years after its initial release. The action RPG just got its 1.53 patch, which adds 60fps support for those playing it on PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility. The patch is live now.
Alongside adding 60fps support on PS5, the free update 1.53 also adds 4K checkerboard resolution, removes Graphics Mode from the game when played on the PlayStation 5, and fixed a streaming performance issue related to backwards compat.

Sony and Guerrilla had reportedly planned to launch the game sometime this fall, but Game Director Mathijs De Jonge said that the global pandemic has impacted development and that the team felt it needed a bit more polish. Horizon Forbidden West will now launch on February 18, 2022.
