The possibility of a Super Mario Galaxy 3 is pretty high, says Mr. Miyamoto, the brains behind everyone’s favorite plumber, Mario. In an interview with Eurogamer, Mr. Miyamoto stated that a new Super Mario Galaxy game is always being talked about. Stating that he’s always looking to surprise players, he then said:
“However we can’t make so many games at once in parallel. But as the hardware technology gets better and advances, I think there will be a lot of opportunity for both options.”
Though the Wii U is one of Nintendo’s best performing consoles, Miyamoto said that in the end;
“It’s really just a matter of the CPU speed at this point.”
In the end, we can only see what NIntendo will bring to the table. We all know that Nintendo’s always looking to shake things up with their future games, as seen by Paper Mario: Sticker Star and the newly announced Metroid: Prime Federation.
Sure, these aren’t the games that fans had expected to come from Nintendo but when you really look back, they have some certain charm about them. Either way, it’s definitely something to look forward to as the question arises:
What exactly will Nintendo do with Mario and the Lumas if Super Mario Galaxy 3 ever happens?
