As we all know, Sledgehammer Games has been developing the Call of Duty: Advance Warfare, the next installment to the Call of Duty franchise. However, it’s been confirmed that they’re only focussing on the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC versions of the game.
According to Gameinformer, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 owners won’t have to worry about these sudden plans, as Advance Warfare will be coming to the last-gen consoles as well.
No confirmation on the company developing the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions yet, but rumor has it that the Transformers developer, High Moon Studios, might be in charge of these versions.
Back in March, a gaming website called VideoGamer found out that High Moon Studios has been looking for an employee with experience of the Radiant Engine.
For those who don’t know, the Radiant Engine is the level editor that was used to create the Call of Duty maps.
Activision has yet to announce any confirmation on High Moon’s next project. The developer, Edge of Reality, will be responsable for the next Transformers title, Rise of the Dark Spark, which is due to release next month.
Call of Duty: Advance Warfare will be available on the Xbox one, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and PC on November 4th, 2014.
