Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Gets New Trailer, Release Window

Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga is back and looking better than ever.

After months of no news, we finally got another glimpse at Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live 2021 segment. Traveler’s Tales and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment debuted a lengthy new trailer showing scenes from all nine mainline films and announced a spring 2022 release date for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.

The Skywalker Saga reimagines previous Lego Star Wars games and turns the epic story into a flexible, open-world game.

Players can pick which regions and time periods to explore from the expansive Galaxy Map, including Dagobah, Geonosis, and some planets that barely get a passing mention in the films, such as Kijimi.

However different the structure might be, the trailer shows the Lego Star Wars spirit remains intact. We see Lando running across Kashyyk with a sly grin on his face, Rey summoning a Wookie on accident, and, of course, plenty of collectibles.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was originally supposed to release in fall 2021 before being delayed unexpectedly.
