The Lucas DLC releases on 6/14 at 8 a.m. PT.

Nintendo of America has announced via Twitter that the Lucas Smash Bros. DLC will be available on June 14th at 8 a.m. PT.

The psychic protaganist of Mother 3 will join the battle on both Wii U and 3DS.

Lucas is the second Smash Bros. DLC character, the first being Mewtwo, and will be the second character of the Mother/Earthbound series, joining Ness.

Lucas was a fighter in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and, although it has taken a little bit of time, he is back where he belongs on the roster of Smash Bros. fighters.

Additionally, Nintendo created a ballot several months ago through which fans could vote for characters that they want to be in Smash Bros., and there is no word on who might get voted in.
