The normal Events include Skiing, Skating, Curling, Snowboarding, and Figure Skating. Some other events, called Dream Events, include Hockey, Bobsled Racing, and Snowboard Racing. You’ll get to play as your favorite Nintendo and Sonic characters and try your best at sports.

The game is the first in its series to only be Wii U exclusive. You won’t be able to get your hands on a hand-held version, so be ready to use your Wii U controllers. Those will include the traditional Wii-mote, but also the Gamepad. They will become interchangeable depending on what event you’re taking part in.
