Defiance, a transmedia effort combining a SyFy TV show and an MMO, hits some time in April, and Trion Worlds is offering some sweet incentives for those who reserve the game.
An extra $5 in addition to the game at the standard $59.99 will net players a beta invite, an exclusive outfit and weapon, a three-day boost in experience points, and an in-game title.
These add-ons compound with other perks as the price-point for the game rises:
The $99 Digital Deluxe Edition offers a thirty-day XP boost, five extra slots for storage, a title, outfit, heavy weapon, shield, and a thirty-day scrip boost.
The $99 Collector’s Edition includes the above and the Defiance soundtrack and art book, stickers, a statue, and a “Making of” DVD.
The $149 Ultimate Edition is only available at GameStop, and includes all of the Collector’s Edition, along with a messenger bag, title, and a Season Pass.
As of yet, there is no concrete release date for the MMO shooter, but the game and show are expected to debut in April. Defiance will be available for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
