It’s no secret: cats are jerks. And starting today, you can be one too!

Catlateral Damage appeared previously on GameSkinny in our Simulator Roundup, where we discussed a number of quirky games–new and old–featuring various animals as playable characters. The goal: use your paws and claws to swat all of your owner’s belongings onto the floor, where they belong.

That was a year ago, when the game was still in development. Admittedly, the preview build was limited in scope, but still contained enough novelty to attract the attention of Let’s Players PewDiePie and Markiplier, whose Catlateral Damage videos can be found here and here, respectively.

Those searching for a more robust cat simulation experience need only look to the final release, which promises power-ups, collectibles, over 20 playable cats, and an abundance of procedurally generated houses, each filled with fragile possessions for your cat to knock carelessly to the ground.

Catlateral Damage is also set to feature secret levels, such as supermarkets and museums, to provide new and exciting items for players potentially ruin with catlike arrogance and disregard.

That book? On the floor. Flower vase? Knock it on the floor. Dinner plates? Floor. Faberge eggs? You get the idea!

Catlateral Damage releases today, May 27, 2015 for $9.99 in the U.S., $10.99 in Canada, and 9,99€ in Europe. Find it here on Steam.
