Mega Evolution, Jessie & James Coming to Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!

Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! are bringing Mega Evolutions and fan-favorites Jessie, James, and Meowth to Nintendo Switch consoles this fall.

As if there weren’t already plenty of reasons to be looking forward to Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, Nintendo are adding some more reasons to get in on the biggest home console releases the series has seen yet.

Mega Evolution will be making a return in Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!. Introduced in Pokemon X and Y, Mega Evolution adds some extra variety to battles in mainline games as Pokemon power up into forms unknown before X and Y.

If Mega Evolution being included wasn’t good enough, the first Pokemon players will be able to Mega Evolve in-game will be the original three starters: Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur.

Nintendo have also announced that classic Team Rocket will be making a return, and they are doing it in style. Jessie, James, and Meowth will be making an appearance and hopefully, bringing their signature flair to Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!. There’s no better time for the fan-favorite Pokemon anime characters to be tossed into a game.

There’s a lot for fans to look forward to in Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! and there’s not much time left until release. Look for both titles on the Nintendo Switch later this year on November 16.
