The next major entry in the Metal Gear Solid series, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, has been hyped and anticipated for several months now. The game will no doubt be present at E3 but, until then, series creator and game director Hideo Kojima decided to share almost two minutes of gameplay.
The footage shows Big Boss emerging from a dumpster, skulking around a desert environment, entering his signature cardboard box and then bursting out of it and sneaking behind a gaurd.
The clip was shown on Konami and Kojima’s Youtube video series, Kojima Station, where Kojima and the members of Kojima Productions give a behind-the-scenes look at the development process. This footage is just a brief snippet of the gameplay presentation that will be shown at E3. There will also be a story trailer released at E3 for the public while the gameplay presentation will be for members of the media only.
