A little over 13 hours ago, Mighty No. 9’s Kickstarter period came to a close. Fans have pledged $3,845,170 through Kickstarter and an additional $186,380 raised through Paypal. This means all the stretch goals that were listed on Kickstarter have been reached.

Available Platforms

We can now pick up Mighty No. 9 on any of the current or Next-Gen platforms once the game releases. All the platforms listed below will be able to play the Mighty No. 9.

  • PC
  • Mac
  • Linux
  • PS3
  • Xbox 360
  • Wii U
  • PS4
  • Xbox One
  • PS Vita
  • Nintendo 3DS

This is likely the largest list of ports for a single game that I’ve seen in a long time. Now no gamers will be left wanting for this very promising game.

Call Gets a Solo Mission!

That’s right, we will be able to play as Call in an offline mission. No details have been released yet on the mission other than we will play as Call and there will be a boss battle, but I’m sure we’ll get a little sneak peek eventually. In addition to this, we will also be able to play as Call in online co-op mode so Call is going to get plenty of time to show her skills in the game.

Other Stretch Goals

In addition to all the cool things that have already been added, there will also be an Online Battle Race Mode and an optional chiptunes soundtrack. The Battle Race will show your rival as a ghost on your screen, that you can’t directly affect, but enemies defeated will be sent to the rival. From how that reads it almost sounds like it will be a never-ending battle to the end.

Anyone who has been following my posts about Mighty No. 9 is sure to know how much I’m looking forward to the game’s music. Now we will have the opportunity to swap between retro and modern sounding versions of the music in the game. This is spectacular news for me, I am really looking forward to experiencing this game using both versions of the music.

With the game still set for a 2015 release I’ll be keeping my eye on Mighty No. 9 for any updates I can get my hands on. Let me know in the comments below what you’re excited about for this game. Also, don’t forget to vote on the image of Call that you like the best!
