Co-Developer not happy with new trailer.
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

A few days ago, publisher Deep Silver released a new trailer to the much anticipated Kickstarter game, Mighty No.9. The internet…. wasn’t very happy with it. It’s currently sitting at 23,475 dislikes, with only a little under 3,200 likes. The trailer was heavily criticized for it’s cringe worthy humor and was called out for a particular line about “anime fans crying on prom night,” which many felt was insult to the people who backed the game. But it wasn’t just fans that weren’t happy with the new trailer.

Even Co-Developer/Inti Creates chief executive Takuya Aizu described the trailer as horrible. On his twitter account he said, “What the hell was D*** *il*** thinking making a crappy PV like this?! Unforgivable.” Suffice it to say, the trailer didn’t go well.

Mighty No.9 is currently scheduled to be released on June 21st on all major platforms, after numerous delays pushed it back from it’s original 2015 release. What did you think of the trailer? Did it hamper you excitement of the game?
