Eyes up guardians, there’s more Destiny content on the way!
In Bungie’s most recent weekly update, community manager David “DeeJ” Dague made a statement regarding the future plan for Destiny‘s content. According to the post, players can expect an update coming in the spring of 2016 that will:
“…feature a significant Light increase, a bunch of new gear to earn and equip, and new challenges for PvE players seeking some more fun experiences and replayability.”
On top of the spring update, a new “large expansion” is slated for late 2016 with “a full Destiny sequel in 2017.” The update did not state whether or not the expansion later this year will be free or paid, but more details are sure to come in the future.
As for Destiny fans that are still returning to the game for their fix, the recent Crimson Days update features the return of the Doubles multiplayer mode, with a few twists to keep it interesting. Players can earn new Ghost Shells, Shaders, and Emblems for their guardians, as well as purchase new emotes from Tess Everis.
