The panel for TT Games at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con was crawling with Marvel fans, all wanting to know details about the upcoming LEGO: Marvel’s Avengers game that’s set to release in winter of 2015.

TT Games, the developers behind the LEGO Marvel franchise, gave an overview of what gamers can expect from the upcoming LEGO: Marvel’s Avengers, a sort-of sequel to LEGO: Marvel Super Heroes. Although the first LEGO Marvel game was a fantastic debut, this upcoming game will be bringing together comic books, movies, and cartoons into one awesome game.

The director behind the game, Alan Parsons stated that:

“It’s a celebration of everything Avengers…Comic books, movies, cartoons. It’s everything you love about the Avengers in video games.”

What the panel announced

TT announced that game will have aspects reflecting all the Avengers movies – including the film Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and movies that have not yet been released. The whole gang will be back together, along with some other characters like Iron Stan (an Iron Man version of Stan Lee), Sam Wilson (Falcon) as Captain America, Crossbones, and Wiccan from Young Avengers. Aside from the numerous costume options, there are over 100 characters to collect and play with.

When this sweet-looking LEGO game releases winter of 2015 (probably during the holiday season), you’ll be able to find it for practically any console: PC, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

As a hardcore LEGO games fan, I can’t wait to be playing this with my friends and maybe even my nephew. What about you? Does this new info have you excited? Let us know in the comments!
