The original game was released early last year to positive reviews. The combat is as polished as it has ever been, and it boasts one of the best storylines among fighting games. Not to mention that it is as gory and brutal as always. It currently sits at a favorable 83 on Metacritic

Players who haven’t yet picked up Mortal Kombat X can look forward to getting a hold of all DLC released so far. Included among the DLC will be a host of new characters such as Predator, Jason Voorhees, Leatherface, and the Xenomorph from Alien

The following is everything that will come with the game:

  • Playable characters from Kombat Pack 1: Xenomorph from Alien, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Triborg and Bo’Rai Cho
  • Apocalypse Skin Pack
  • Previously released content: Goro, Brazil Skin Pack, Kold War Skin Pack and Kold War Scorpion Skin
  • Playable characters from Kombat Pack 2: Predator, Jason Voorhees, Tremor and Tanya, each accompanied by three skins
  • Samurai Skin Pack

Also revealed a few days ago, Creative Director Ed Boon announced that XL will launch with improved online gameplay from day one.

The game will be available for $59.99 on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Want to know my favorite game? It's Mass Effect, but not the third one; we don't talk about that one. I am also an avid fan of any and all board games, and you should totally try Risk Legacy; it's like regular Risk but better.
