Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Screenshots Released- Ride Through Calradia with More Detail Than Ever

Screenshots released for the long-awaited sequel to Mount & Blade
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

First, there was Mount & Blade, the sandbox medieval RPG based around building a party and fighting epic battles. Then there was Mount & Blade: Warband, which was basically a remake with slightly better graphics and multiplayer. Later came a standalone expansion called Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword, which took place in Eastern Europe during the Crimean War. And then came Mount & Blade: Napoleonic Wars, a DLC for Warband with a self-explanatory title.

So many titles in the series, yet no sequel.

But do not fear, Bannerlord is here!

New Screenshots were released yesterday by TaleWorlds, and they look great.

Seems like there’s some really great graphical improvements, though I am worried about how much of it seems to be HDR and depth effects. I’m excited to see how the texture quality compares in Warband. I’m also hoping for changes to the Overworld screen.

Visually, it’s shaping up to be a great game. But we’ll have to wait for its release to see how its gameplay holds up against Warband’s.
