Through a tweet posted yesterday, May 7th, by Ubisoft, the unveiling of the newest Assassin’s Creed edition has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 12th at 9am PT (12pm ET).
The image attached to the tweet somewhat confirmed the rumored setting: Victorian-era, London. Ubisoft had announced that their Quebec studios were working on it. However, until now, nothing had been officially revealed about game.

Today, May 8th, the official Assassin’s Creed website updated and revealed another teaser image. This one shows a set of brass knuckles with “Strength Through Loyalty” engraved in the handle. There is also a recognizable Assassin’s Creed logo set in the middle.
Behind the brass knuckles, several inscriptions can be seen, one of them stating “God Save The Queen”, which confirms the British setting. Another declares “We Forge The Chains We Wear In Life”, a quote from The Cricket on the Hearth by Charles Dickens, a book published in the 1840s. There is also a bird carved next to the word “Rooks”, which is a bird found in Northern Europe.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, not Victory
Although rumored to be Assassin’s Creed: Victory, Polygon states that the true name is actually Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, starring Jacob Frye.
The game will “transport millions of gamers to an astonishing recreation of London during the Industrial Revolution where they will find themselves immersed in a game world they’ll have to see to believe”.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is reported to be released this holiday on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
