Surprise Attack Games recently announced hard-core PC sports video game gurus have access to Vertiginous Golf through Steam Early Access. You can take a look at this new game here.
The developers have also added a new community website where sports video game gurus can make new friends and talk about playing Vertiginous Golf. Expectations are for the new community website to drive development of the game and make it more popular with gamers that love to play mini golf.
Surprise Attack Games is also making their project management tool for Vertiginous Golf public for all sports video gamers to follow development of the game. This is your chance to add to the game by making comments about art and design decisions.
“We really want to bring our community into the process as much as possible,” said Paul Barnes, Director at Kinelco. “I’m particularly excited to see what they contribute to the fictional universe of the game and for fans to be able to see something they have come up with in the final game.”
“As an indie label we’re not cash-rich like a big publisher so we have to get creative,” said Chris Wright, Managing Director of Surprise Attack Games. “It’s clear to us that engaging and empowering your community is a huge weapon in the indie marketing arsenal. Vertiginous Golf is our first game where we are trying to involve the fans as much as possible. Our next step is to figure out how we can be just as transparent and open as a publishing label.”
Sports video game gurus that haven’t played Vertiginous Golf can check out the game play using the latest trailer for the game here. Mac and Linux versions of this new video game are also in development, according to the developer. The full game isn’t expected until sometime in the third quarter of 2014.
