The Dragon’s Dogma 2 Title update just dropped implementing features and fixes the community has been asking for. From quality-of-life improvements to more save files, this is a good start when it comes to hotfixes. Here’s a list of everything the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Title update added.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Title Update Patch Notes
The most important feature of this Dragon’s Dogma 2 update is the ability to have multiple save files. You can now start the game over with a new character. Furthermore, you can also change your Arisen’s and main pawn’s appearance more frequently. There are also some QoL fixes and the ability to get your very own home much earlier in the game. Here’s a full list of changes:
- PlayStation 5 and Steam Updates:
- Adding the option to start a new game when save data already exists.
- Changing the number of “Art of Metamorphosis” items available at Pawn Guilds in the game to 99.
- Making the quest that allows players to acquire their own dwelling (where they can save and rest) available earlier in the game.
- Miscellaneous text display issues.
- Miscellaneous bug fixes.
- PlayStation 5 Exclusive Updates:
- Adding the option* to switch Motion Blur on/off in Options.
- Adding the option* to switch Ray Tracing on/off in Options.
- Adding the option to set Frame Rate at Max 30fps in Options.
- Steam Exclusive Updates:
- Improving quality when DLSS SUPER RESOLUTION is enabled.
- Fixing an issue related to the display of models under some specific settings.
Overall, this is a step in the right direction for Capcom as they’ve addressed some of the issues players had with the game on launch. Hopefully, more updates will keep coming regularly to address performance issues, improve fast travel, and add enemy variety.
The patch notes did state that “Improvements to frame rate are planned for future updates.” Lastly, Xbox Series X/S updates are planned in the next few days. Until then, check out our Dragon’s Dogma 2 hub for the latest news and guides on the game.
