If you’re a tremendous nerd such as myself you may remember the phoned in Harry Potter side-book (which is really more like a pamphlet) Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The “book” – originally inspired by a book of the same name in the series – revolves around fantastic beasts. And also where you can find them (oy vey).

**Sure – this is DEFINITELY something we need.**

J.K. Rowling, author of Harry Potter, says the series will not connect directly with the main Harry Potter narrative, but it will remain in the universe.

There was no mention of any specific narrative or gameplay elements, but I’ll make a bold prediction and say it will probably make several boat loads of money. Optimistically though, there were one or two decent Harry Potter games, and the general premiss could potentially make for an interesting Pokemon-like experience.

How do you feel about the universe throwing another Harry Potter thing at your face? Sound off in the comments down below and maybe I’ll let you come with me to the midnight showing of the movies with me and dress up as Hagrid!
