NetherRealm Studios has confirmed a new DLC for Mortal Kombat X.
Not many details were given, but it will include new playable characters, skins, and a new stage. It comes out the first half of 2016.
The DLC was hinted at a day earlier by a “Kombat Pack 1” comment during a Mortal Kombat X live stream.
The series creator, Ed Boon teased four new fighters on Twitter with an image reading, “Who’s Next?”
The Predator, Tanya, and Jason Voorhees from Friday the Thirteenth have already been released for the game, so we’re looking forward to see who else might step up into the game.
The DLC will presumably be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game.
Mortal Kombat X is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Andriod, and iOS. The game was originally released on April 14, 2015 and April 21 and May 4 for iOS and Android. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game were recently cancelled by WB Games due to not meeting standards.
