The Sims 4 Growing Together Expansion Pack has received a new trailer from EA. Highlighting infant interactions, generational milestones, and more family friendly gameplay.
A majority of the new trailer showcases infants, an anticipated addition to the game. While the infant update to the base game occurs on March 14, the separate Growing Together Expansion Pack on March 16 brings in 18 unique infant quirks, multiple infant milestones, and new abilities.
New items such as the Changing Station and Infant Playmat bring new social interactions. Infant carriers, dubbed the PowerWalk Companion, allow parents to take their wiggly bundles of joy into the neighborhood. There’s even a Baby Shower event that can be thrown to celebrate a pregnancy.
While infants may be the most exciting part of the trailer, the Growing Together pack really focuses on expanding multi-generational gameplay. Social Compatibility between parents, siblings, in-laws and friends can all alter the family dynamic.
Included in the expansion are new Milestones. Infants can get milestones for rolling over, standing up for the first time, or eating solid food. Children can gain a milestone for losing a tooth. Achieving milestones together will strengthen social bonds, while having little in common can weaken them. Growing Together will also bring new social interactions to the table with impacting effects
The Growing Together Expansion Pack will be available March 16 at 10AM PST for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Pre-orders are available now for The Sims 4 Growing Together Expansion Pack, and if you buy it before April 27th, you’ll also receive the Outdoor Playtime Digital Content, which includes the PowerWalk Companion, Prime of Childhood Swingset, and Lil’ Whalebert Toddler Slide.
