Pokemon GO‘s next season is looking to be a diamond in the rough with Hidden Gems. Focusing on a summer theme, Hidden Gems will begin June 1 at 10 a.m. and last until September 1. Here’s what Season 11 will be bringing to Pokemon GO.
Hidden Gems will be kicking off with a Battle League reset and the Summer Cup: Great League Edition, in addition to the regular Great League. I list the new Pokemon being added to the game below:
- Sandygast
- Palossand
- Carbink
- Shiny Nihilego
- Shiny Clauncher
- Shadow Articuno
Shadow Raids will continue to occur as Team GO Rocket focuses their attention on taking over gyms. This is a chance to use up your Purified Gems if you didn’t get a chance to during the Rising Shadows event in May. As noted above, Shadow Articuno will make its Pokemon GO debut, appearing in Shadow Raids during the weekends after June 10.
Gem inspired Pokemon like Sableye and Carbink will be the focus of some events throughout the season. Alolan Pokemon will be appearing in the wild, as well as hatching from eggs.
Hidden Gems has these bonuses:
- One additional Special Trade per day.
- One additional Pokémon Candy when trading Pokémon.
- Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon.
A previous seasonal bonus, Pokemon battling in raids remotely will have their damage permanently boosted to match the damage of those battling in person.
While only the Battle League schedule and June content update has been made available, summer is certainly in full swing with Hidden Gems.
