Wednesday on Twitter, Nintendo of America announced a new map for Splatoon. It’s called Mahi Mahi Resort, and will be available for the squid-kid game starting Thursday at 6 PM PT. This update comes just in time for the holidays, when many will no doubt be getting the game via the Smash Splat Wii U bundle.

Reactions on Twitter seemed to be generally positive, with many excited about the new map and expressing hopes for other potential updates to the popular title:

Only time will tell whether the new map becomes a favorite among players, but in the meantime it will at least add a fresh new experience to the beloved Nintendo title.
