Mobile computing powerhouse Nvidia has announced the GeForce GTX TITAN Z (wow that’s a mouthful), the future of processing performance ranging all the way to the tall figure of $3000 USD.

The legendary card is supposedly being engineered for next generation 5K (already surpassing this 4K trend) as well for multi monitor gaming performance.

“If you’re in desperate need of a supercomputer that you can fit under your desk, we have just the card for you,”

– Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang.

Apart from the tremendous asking price of the dual GPU graphics card, the product will most likely fly under the radar in terms of sales due to a variety of hiccups.

No matter how many impressive statistics are bundled together, the consumer will not care.

Nvidia has has really outdone themselves with filling their latest invention to the brim with technological goodies. With some impressive specs such as 2880 cores per GPU,12 GB of dedicated frame buffering, and EIGHT TERRAFLOPS of fp32 performance, you will be gaining some extraordinary power for your rig.

Even with all these beefy computing powers however, this product will still prove unattractive in the eyes of the average customer simply because of its impracticability with the needs of casual gamers and even the hardcore market.

The true cause is to showcase superiority.

It’s not very hard to see through the true nature of Nvidia’s decision to crank out this device. The company wants to demonstrate that it is the number one hardware manufacturer, towering over the likes of competitor AMD and Intel. Truly a swan song to hardcore tech aficionados, the Geforce GTX TITAN Z will no doubt show off incredible strength in not only its computing directives, but as a metaphor for Nvidia’s immense power it has on the technology scene.
