The developers behind Octodad: Dadliest Catch have been working on a Wii U version of the game for quite some time now. Finally, Young Horses has announced that the game will be released in North America and Europe on October 29th.
The original game was released for Xbox One, PS4 and PC back in 2014, so it’s been a long time coming for the Wii U version. Young Horses has expressed excitement about the upcoming port, saying:
“We couldn’t be more excited to get the game out to more excellent players.”
In order for the game to look a little more eye-catching to your purse strings, they’re introducing a 20% discount upon purchase from October 29th – November 5th. This brings the price down to $11/€11/£10 for North America and Europe, so if you’re thinking of buying the game, first off you should read our excellent review of the original.
Octodad: Dadliest Catch for the Wii U has 4 player co-op and optional play on just the gamepad, plus in-game achievements.
