Origins Of Malu Beta Coming Soon

So a friend just showed me an MMO she was interested in. I was going to dismiss it, but I checked out the site anyways. I was surprised to find out it’s a classless sandbox MMO, known as Origins of Malu. Information is tight right now, but the game will be going into beta in just three short days! So I signed up, and started reading up on the game a bit.

Set in a fantastical sci-fi world, it has a really colorful, cartoony art style. And the free form no class system, combined with a sandbox perspective has me looking forward to it. Too many MMOs these days focus on theme park style, with the gear treadmill and progression. Something along the lines of a futuristic Ultima seems like a fabulous idea. And if Burning Dog Media can bring us a unique experience with lots of freedom, I may end up playing for a while.

Beta signup is explained here, so feel free to check it out. There are still roughly four thousand keys to be handed out, so it shouldn’t be hard to get your hands on one before the beta officially starts.
