Sony Europe recently released the Official PlayStation Store charts for the month of September 2013. In terms of PS3 games, Grand Theft Auto V completely dominated the charts, passing up The Last of Us to become the new record holder for biggest ever digital release on the system.
Killzone Mercenary takes the top honors for the Vita charts, leaving fellow newcomers like The Walking Dead and Rayman Legends in its dust. I’m glad to see that two remakes of classic games I used to play in my childhood are getting the love they deserve. Both Castle of Illusion and DuckTales are games I think everyone should play. Whether it be the remakes or the classic versions, that style of gameplay is something we don’t see a lot today and it’s something I think the younger gaming audience needs to experience in order to gain an appreciation for what made gaming what it is today.
What about you? Do you see your favorite game up there? Do you appreciate the classics like I do? Let me know in the comments below!
