Konami has revealed details for PES 2017’s upcoming free updates, which are set to release over the next two months. The first update will be available at the end of October, with a second update to follow at the end of November.
The October 1.02 update is set to introduce improved facial likenesses to over 39 players within the game, thanks to their excellent performance in the early part of the season. You can expect to see photo-realistic reproductions of the likes of Wissam Ben Yedder, Mario Lemina and Denis Suarez, to name a few. These updated players will also see their individual playing styles recreated within the game.
Fans can also look forward to updated pitch side hoardings and the introduction of new official boot styles, where players will have the option to chose from a variety of different studs.
One of the biggest announcements to come from the November 1.03 update is that Konami will be taking full advantage of the PS4 Pro by introducing a 4K resolution mode within PES 2017. The 4K resolution mode will run at 60 FPS and add greater visual definition to the game.
The November update will also bring new content that is focused around Konami’s partnership with Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund, where you will see extensive additions that are designed to reflect the match day experience at these clubs. Fans will also be able to experience the iconic Liverpool stadium, Anfield, as it will be add to PES 2017 where it will showcase the club’s brand new stand. Liverpool chants such as “You’ll Never Walk Alone” will also be added into the game, along with Borussia Dortmund’s fully replicated Signal Iduna Park grounds.
More details regarding the upcoming updates will be revealed soon, however, you can check out the full update announcement here.
