Peter Dinklage replaced as Ghost due to "Hollywood nonsense"
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

By now we all know that voiceover god, Nolan North, will be replacing Peter Dinklage as the voice of Ghost in Destiny: The Taken King. Nolan North is famous for pretty much every good game character voice there is such as: Deadpool, Nathan Drake, Desmond Miles, General Zod, The Penguin, and more.

With the arrival of North, fans will not miss the little Lannister due to his poor and unmotivated performance in the game. But for those who thought Bungie replaced Dinklage might be surprised to learn that it was actually Hollywood that pulled him from the role of Ghost.

In a recent interview with Game Informer, executive producer Mark Noseworthy stated that “Hollywood nonsense..” was responsible for the recasting. Nolan North is more readily available for V.O. work than the Game of Thrones star.

Destiny: The Taken King will launch September 15th, with North replacing all the original work done by Dinklage.
