Pokemon Company International recently announced the best Pokemon gamers in over 30 countries around the world will soon be competing in the 2014 Pokemon World Championships.
Winners of these national championships will compete to earn a spot in the upcoming 11th annual Pokemon World Championships, on August 16-17 in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.
This is your chance to show the world you’re one the best Pokemon X or Pokemon Y masters on the planet, and put other gamers in their place.
“Our vibrant Pokémon community loves a good Pokémon battle,” said J.C. Smith, director of Consumer Marketing, The Pokémon Company International. “The Pokémon National Championships will bring out the best players and biggest fans in each country.”
- European Pokemon players will be taking part in the action in three cities: Bochum, Germany; Manchester, England; and Milan, Italy. Check here for more information on the dates and times of the European competitions.
- Pokemon masters in the United States and Canada can take part in the fun in Indianapolis, Indiana between July 4-6. Canadian Pokemon players can also take part in the Canadian National Championships in Kitchener, Ontario starting on June 28.
- Pokemon gamers in Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South American can compete to become the 2014 Pokemon World Champion.
