While Nintendo was busy sweeping the floor with this year’s Electronics Entertainment Expo, or E3, it revisited the previous mention of Pokemon re-releases.
For those who were unaware of the prospect of a Nintendo 3DS release for Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire was announced previously complete with a random pair of Nintendo’s infamous adjectives– Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
What Will the Transition Mean?
Following suit of many previous remakes, the original Ruby and Sapphire were launched for the Game Boy Advance in 2003.
The cinematic trailer features a young boy exploring through a mysterious cave with lighthearted music playing in the background.
After seeing Pokemon cave drawings on the walls, the display twists into a playful, charming scene:
Following the cinematic, a bit of gameplay is shown on a model 3DS bringing back a nostalgic Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip. Although the original game was in 2D, parts of the remaster will be available in 3D.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have been revealed to release on November 21st.
