With the distribution of mythical Pokémon and the exclusive 20th Anniversary card box, Manaphy has been getting a lot of attention this month. Even though the month has just begun, this legendary Pokémon is still in the spotlight with an announcement about its appearance in the ninth movie — you know, the one from back in 2006.
The Pokémon Company announced that starting today, the movie Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea is now playing on their website. The movie focuses Ash, May, Brock, and Max protecting Manaphy, their quest to return the Pokémon to the Sea Temple and uncover the secrets it holds.
Certain aspects from the Pokémon Ranger games also make a cameo through the character of Jackie, who saves a Manaphy egg from the clutches of the pirate, Phantom. The movie also includes the animated short, “Pikachu’s Island Adventure”.
Usually, the movies can only be purchased and streamed on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play. However, Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea can be streamed for free on the Pokémon website through the Pokémon TV streaming service right now. It is unknown how long the movie will be available so kick back, relax, and enjoy the show.
