Those anticipating their first look at the upcoming Pokemon games won’t have to wait long.
Serebii have confirmed that first footage of the new games will debut April 3rd on weekly Japanese TV show Gathering at the Pokemon House – which is just a week away.
In attendance will be series director Junichi Masuda, battle director Shigeki Morimoto and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire director Shigeru Ohmori to present the footage and discuss the new titles. There’s no word if the footage will be released online to native English countries following the reveal.
Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon were revealed in a Pokemon Direct on February 27th, dubbed “Pokemon Day”. Little is known about the titles other than they will be playable in nine different languages and launch late 2016.
Nintendo also revealed first details on upcoming smartphone title Pokemon GO recently, showing off several features the game will boast — including new concepts PokeStops, Trainer Levels and more.
