The first new character we get to meet is Professor Augustine Sycamore, the man who will give you your first Pokémon in the game and teach you how to use it.

The newest addition to the teams of villains will be Team Flare. An organization set on getting as much money as possible and, of course, stealing Pokémon. They look a lot like Team Magma to me.

 The Pokémon – Fairy Types

The Fairy type will be all new to the Pokémon series, there have been fairy Pokémon before but never an actual type.

Swirlix, a Fairy type known as the cotton candy Pokémon, will be exclusively found in Pokémon X. Swirlix will feature a new move that prevents your Pokémon from being put to sleep called Sweet Veil.

Next we have Spritzee, a Fairy type known as the perfume Pokémon, will be exclusive to Pokémon Y.

The Pokémon – Dark Types

Inkay, known as the revolving Pokémon, is a Dark/Psychic type.

Next we have Malamar, the evolved form of Inkay, a Dark/Psychic type known as the overturning Pokémon.

Last but not least we have Pangoro, a Dark/Fighting type, who will be the evolved form of the earlier released Pancham. The method of evolution is still unknown, but it is rumored to be an all new type of evolution not seen before in the series.

Pokémon X and Y will be releasing on October 12th for the Nintendo 3DS, are you ready to catch them all?
