Microsoft has just announced the Forza Motorsport 6 Limited Edition Xbox One console: a cobalt blue system with a matching controller and a 1TB harddrive. Like most limited edition Microsoft consoles, the Forza Motorsport 6 Xbox One will have custom start up, shut down, and disc tray noises. This is the first limited edition Microsoft console to be based on a racing game.
The Forza Motorsport series marked its tenth anniversary in May of this year. According to Microsoft, the Forza Motorsport 6 Xbox One bundle commemorates the franchise’s decade-long, racing simulator legacy, which began on the original Xbox console in 2005. Forza Motorsport 6 will be the third game in its franchise to come to the Xbox One, following Forza Motorsport 5 and Forza Horizon 2.
The Forza Motorsport 6 Limited Edition Xbox One console bundle is available for preorder now from Microsoft Stores and select retailers. Look for it in stores when Forza Motorsport 6 launches on September 15.
