Even though its launch is a month away, it seems as though some lucky people have been able to get their hands on PS4 controllers. There are several different reports of people finding them at EB Games and GameStop stores in Canada.
The first report of them being on sale comes from a Reddit user. On the PS4 subreddit, they posted a picture of several DualShock 4 controllers on display at an EB Games, but didn’t make it clear as to whether they were available for purchase. The picture can be seen below.
Later on, Twitter user TheRugbyGodGamer posted a tweet stating that those who preordered controllers were allowed to pick them up, provided stock being available. But not long after Twitter user David said he was able to buy one without a preorder.

As for their friends to the south, there have been no reports so far of retailers in the U.S. doing the same, so it looks like it’s just Canadian retailers for now. As far as colors go, black seems to be the only choice, with Magma Red and Wave Blue to come at a later, unannounced date.
What do you think of the news? Are you one of the lucky ones who were able to get their hands on the new controller? If so, let me know what you think of it in the comments below!
