With the launch of the PlayStation 4 only a week away, more and more news about the console has come out – from news that you can upgrade the internal hard drive to an SSD to a complete teardown video of the console.
Now comes info about the apps that will come with the PS4 at launch. The following apps are confirmed to be available in the U.S., but we still don’t know if all of them will be available in Canada.
- Amazon Instant Video
- Crackle
- Crunchyroll
- EPIX
- Hulu Plus
- NBA Game Time
- Netflix
- NHL GameCenter LIVE
- Redbox Instant by Verizon
- VUDU
- YuppTV
I’m sure many gamers will be glad to see Netflix and Hulu Plus, given their wide popularity, but it’s nice to see Amazon Instant Video and Crunchyroll included as well. As for the other apps, although they aren’t for me, I’m sure there will be a lot of people who will use them on a regular basis.
What about you? Is there an app you think should be added to the list for launch that isn’t listed? Let me know in the comments below!
