Rayman Origins, the 2D platformer that Ubisoft Montpelier released back in 2011, is now available on Xbox One. (Not to be confused with Rayman Legends that has been available in the Xbox One store for a while.) Because of the Xbox’s backwards compatibility function, the game has been ported to the One from the 360 for no additional cost.
The Xbox One backwards compatibility feature has been popular with users since it was announced, and is quickly making more games available on the console. Along with Rayman Origins, there’s a wealth of other 360 titles available on the Xbox Store, including Gears of Wars 2, King of Fighters ‘98, and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas. There are more games being added daily.
Quick tip: if you save your game to Cloud Saved Games, you will be able to play your saved games on any console. This also keeps your saved games, achievements, DLC, and gamerscore — which is a relief.
