RUMOR: Wii U Set to Walk The Plank For Lack of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag DLC

Ubisoft may be skipping the Wii U when it comes to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag DLC.

It appears that the Wii U is getting the short end of the stick when it comes to DLC for Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag. Up until this point, both Ubisoft and the folks at Nintendo have been very vague on whether the Wii U will get all of the DLC promised if we purchase the season pass.

Unfortunately for Wii U owners, it looks like they will be excluded from the planned DLC.  Nintendo Life is reporting that Black Flag’s DLC may not be coming to the Wii U, with Ubisoft instead focusing on every other platform.

If true, this is a big disappointment for the Nintendo faithful.

It would seem that developers just don’t like the Wii U, or at the very least are not excited about its future. I don’t own a Wii U, so I can’t really say how I feel about this news. What I can say is that if this is the norm that owners typically find themselves dealing with, it is my opinion that they find another platform to play games on and only use the Wii U for those Nintendo exclusives.

If true, will this news affect which version you will buy?
