According to a spiffy source from Kotaku, Microsoft may be shipping their Xbox One baby out on November 8. We know that the Playstation 4 will be out November 15, so is this a strategic move on Microsoft’s part?
Kotaku’s source works in marketing and product placement for the notorious Walmart and received an email noting the inventory they will be stocking in the budding holiday season.
It is not necessarily set in stone, but it is a lead on Microsoft’s big plans. August is on its way out and October will be gone in a flash of sticky autumn foliage, leaving you to choose between–or both–the Xbox One and the PS4 consoles.
If the Xbox One does go out on November 8, how does that affect its release? Because it is earlier, will more people go after it just to finally taste what the next generation has to offer? Can one week really make a difference or is it just a petty one-up move?
