The Georgia Game Developers Association (GGDA) is hosting another Southern Interactive Entertainment and Games Expo (SIEGE) trade fair this year. This event is one of the largest gaming and interactive medium conferences held in the Southern United States — and one of its main events is the annual Investment Conference, where teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges.
To be one of the ten teams at the conference, aspiring developers must submit an application (in the form of a pitch teaser) to SIEGE — and the deadline to get that application in has just been extended to September 15.
During the conference, a panel of investors and industry veterans will judge which one of up to ten gaming companies or teams has the best pitch, and reward them $1,000.
General attendance to the Investment Conference is open to all; however, if you want a chance to pitch your gaming or interactive concept to the judges, you’ll need to have submitted an application before the deadline next week.
Just remember, even though the deadline was extended, there’s still a limited amount of space at the conference — so be sure to submit your pitch teaser as soon as possible! If you’re interested in doing so, you can start your application on the SIEGE website.
