The Tokyo Game Show is sure to provide its fair share of goodies, such as these 12 minutes of pure awesome from the PlayStation 4 version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. There have been several major tweaks made to the series stealth and takedown mechanics, but don’t worry things haven’t changed too much.
Stealth is still the name of the game, with Snake continuing to show the young’uns how its done!
In the video creator Hideo Kojima narrates gameplay, talking viewers through a stealth section of the Ground Zero game prologue. The trailer showcases some new features, such as X-ray vision that lets Snake see enemy soldiers through walls and other environmental obstacles.
MGSV will also be the first game in the series with an open world, which will allow players to utilize different methods of transportation in order to get around. So Snake can now catch a ride!
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will launch for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One at a still unannounced date.
