Sonic Forces Gets Exciting New Trailer Packed with Villains

SEGA revealed key art and a new trailer for Sonic Forces at E3 yesterday. 

The trailer features modern and classic Sonic, along with the newly-added custom character feature, joining forces to save the world from an all-star cast of Sonic villains. On top of that, there’s a brand-new enemy, Infinite, who joins Eggman’s henchmen, who have already taken over the world. 

With information on Infinite to be revealed later, here is the rundown of villains included in the trailer:

• Doctor Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik: After failed attempts at world domination, Sonic’s longstanding nemesis is back with reinforcements.

• Chaos: After being defeated in Sonic Adventure, this ancient being makes a mysterious return.

• Shadow: Sonic’s frenemy comes roaring back with his own agenda.

• Metal Sonic: Popping up first in Sonic CD, Robotnik’s creation stands in solidarity with his creator.

• Zavok: After appearing in 2013’s Sonic: Lost World, the powerful Zeti has returned to join in on the fun.

While anticipation for the game ramps up, fans will have to wait until this holiday season for Sonic Forces to release on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
