Sony Interactive Entertainment has just announced its PlayStation E3 Experience for 2017 via the PlayStation Blog. It will take place on Monday, June 12 at 6:00 p.m. PST in more than 85 theaters throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
Attendees of the theatrical event will receive an exclusive poster, #76 from the PlayStation Collectible Card series, and a digital gift basket, of which the contents are currently unknown.
At 2016’s PlayStation E3 Experience, attendees were given an exclusive poster, a PlayStation Lanyard, a PlayStation Experience Coca-Cola cup, #37 from the PlayStation Collectible Card series, and a digital gift basket that included:
- A $10 PSN credit
- An exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn Theme
- A digital copy of 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie
Tickets for the event are free and can be obtained at PlayStation’s official website as soon as Tuesday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. PST, all while supplies last. To register for a ticket, create a free Gofobo account. Tickets will be sent to the email address used for the account once registration goes through.
Attendees who have registered for a ticket will be seated on a first come, first-served basis until the theater reaches capacity. Receiving a ticket does not guarantee a seat. Attendees should be sure to arrive early and must be 17 or older to attend, providing a valid form of ID.
This will be the third year Sony will be broadcasting their E3 Press Conference live to theaters across North America and the second year in Latin America.
