Sony’s Playstation Plus subscription is an awesome service that provides the subscribers with hundreds of dollars worth of games for under $50 dollars per year. In addition to games, subscribers also get exclusive content, such as betas, themes, gamer pics, and massive discounts.
Sony is reportedly sending out a 10-day Playstation Plus trial. 10 days may not seem a lot at first, but seeing that you get many major games for free and most of them can be finished within 10 days, it’s not a bad offer.
The current major free games available to PS+ subscribers are Little Big Planet Karting, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Saint’s Row: The Third, and Battlefield 3 along with other smaller titles.
However, there’s a catch. Those games are only playable as long as you are a subscriber. You lose your subscription, you lose your games.
Playstation Plus is offered at $49.99 a year or $17.99 for three months.
For all you people getting the PS4, don’t worry. Your PS+ subscription will carry over to your PS4. Even though the service is not required to play online games on PS3 and Vita, it WILL be required for online play on the PS4.
What do you think? Will you join Playstation Plus after having a taste of its wonderful deals for just 10 days? Comment away.
