South Park: The Stick of Truth

In the words of the great Eric Cartman.  “Jesus Christ Monkey Balls”

The game’s story and voices are being written/voiced directly by Matt and Trey, the creators of South Park.  They claim the game will provide nearly a full season worth of amazing South Park antics.  The game will be set in the same exact feel of the show art and everything.  I’ve never been more excited!  I have a good feeling the game play will be very linear to make you follow the story, but either way that’s all I’m in for, the unrivaled hilarity that is a South Park episode.  The game play will be a turn based RPG, with many other genres like platformers and puzzles mixed in.

Just from the above trailer you can see nearly every episode will be referenced.

You play as ‘the new kid’ in South Park.  Cartman as the Grand Wizard, Kyle as the High Jew Elf, Stan as the Warrior, Kenny as the Princess, and Butters as the Paladin.  It seems as though the usual friends of the four are on the side of the Wizards pitted against the not so usual kids from the school being the elves.  

The game was originally set to release in March this year, but has been pushed back and no release date has been announced since other than some time 2013.  Until then I suggest studying up on all the previous episodes.
