In a post on the game’s official website, Ingvarsdottir expressed gratitude towards the 9 million rebels and imperials for playing the beta, stating that the studio could not be happier over the fact that so many people wanted to take part:

“Like Han Solo at the end of A New Hope, we’re glad you showed up. Even more importantly than just showing up, you’ve been spending a lot of time playing, having a great time and leaving us some invaluable feedback, as we continue to tune and balance the game until launch”, she wrote.

The game was first acknowledged by DICE, developers of the game, in EA’s E3 2013 conference. Ever since a trailer for the game was shown at E3 this year, the beta has been one of the most talked about topics around the game

In May 2015, EA announced that the company is expecting the game to sell nine to ten million units before the end of the company’s financial year on March 31, 2016.

Ingvarsdottir also confirmed the launch dates as November 17, 2015, in North America, and November 19, 2015, in Europe. The game will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
