Star Wars Battlefront is now available for Xbox One via EA Early Access and it has been discovered that a mini-game can be played during the installation (above 20%). The mini-game is centered around Darth Vader.
In the mini-game you play as Darth Vader with a very straightforward mission, eliminate all Rebels. The mission is set inside of a Rebel hangar on Tatooine. With a few Imperial Soldiers by your side, you take on raging waves of Rebels. All the abilities of Darth Vader, including force choke and lightsaber-throw, can be used.
The mini-game keeps a count of the number of Rebels killed. It seems more like a training mission for Darth Vader and to test his skills, but nevertheless it is quite fun and new.
Star Wars Battlefront is currently available only on Xbox One, and it will be interesting to see whether the PC and PS4 versions will also have the mini-game.
The complete game launches on November 17, across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It is available pre-load only on Xbox One via EA Early Access. EA Early Access is a paid online service only for Xbox One owners. It gives 10 hours of gameplay, a few days before the actual release.
